Here are the most politically polarized brands in America

Forget immigration. Democrats and Republicans can't even agree on where to get chicken nuggets (Wendy's, duh).

A survey from Morning Consult published Thursday identified some of the most polarizing brands in America based on party affiliation. Brands that were once seen as studiously neutral have become explosively divisive. Even chain pizza, the last bipartisan cultural good in America, has found a way to step into the political ring.

It's a tragedy for chain restaurant aficionados everywhere.

Morning Consult conducted 336,700 interviews over a period of three months. While survey results varied, Trump hotels was found to be the most divisive brand in America. Democrats and Republicans were much more likely to agree on hotly contested brands like NASCAR, which only has a 20 point spread, and Halliburton -- the brand behind the Deepwater Horizon scandal -- which has a 22 point spread.

Which, hold on, there are still humans out there who love Halliburton? And their names aren't Dick Cheney/Darth Vader?

Anyways, here's a broader look at the data.

Of all the news networks, CNN had the largest point spread at 66 points, compared to just 47 for CBSand 36 (!) for the traditionally left-of-center Huffington Post.

The most divisive pizza chain in America is Papa John's, Morning Consult found, and Republicans prefer pizza chains over Democrats by significant margins. The least divisive pizza chains were Pizza Hut, slightly preferred by Republicans, and California Pizza Kitchen, slightly preferred by Democrats and '90s mall teens everywhere.

Here are other few brands and items not included in the study that are equally polarizing:

Pumpkin Spice Lattes: preferred equally by both parties, though only Republicans will cop to it.

Yankee Candles: strongly preferred by Republicans and Democrats with Bed Bath & Beyond coupons.

Tim Horton's: strongly preferred by no one.

IHOP: slightly preferred by Democrats who lack quality access to a good diner.

White tube socks: strongly preferred by Republicans and ironic Democrats.

Hot Topic: strongly preferred by teenagers who would've voted for Jill Stein if they were old enough.

Twitchy: slightly preferred by people who "don't want to talk about politics because it's all about the crypto man."

Listicles like this one: strongly preferred by my mother who found it on Facebook, and hated by all the bots.
