The third bundle of royal cuteness has finally arrived

Well, it's official! The third member of Will and Kate's royal brood has arrived!

And, it's a boy!

Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a baby boy shortly after 11 a.m. on Monday. The little bundle of joy weighs 8lbs 7oz.

According to the palace, both mother and baby are "doing well."

The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to hospital in the wee small hours of Monday morning in the early stages of labour. The news of the impending arrival of the baby was announced by Kensington Palace shortly after 8am BST.
